There really isn’t much to this post. Just a relaxing way to spend a sunny winter afternoon up in the granite state. In typical New England fashion, it was approximately negative 1,000 degrees for a few days so the lake froze…then the temp promptly bumped up to the mid 50’s. Although some people were ice fishing and driving vehicles on the lake which was pretty clearly starting to crack and thaw (live free or die), we decided to keep our feet firmly planted on solid ground and enjoy the day from the shore with a nice little fire and a couple of high quality beverages. Definitely would strongly recommend this activity. Unfortunately it is now April, so you’ll have to wait until next winter…unless you live in Siberia.
