Tallest Mountain in Greenland
Greenland’s landscape is defined by its massive ice sheet, but its coastal fringes are home to some of the most dramatic and alpine terrain in the Arctic. The tallest peaks are concentrated in the Watkins Range on the east coast, where nunataks (mountain peaks poking through the ice) rise to incredible heights. These mountains are notoriously remote and are among the highest points north of the Arctic Circle. The following table includes the tallest mountains in Greenland.
