Tallest Mountains in Iraq
Iraq’s highest peaks are exclusively concentrated in the north and northeast of the country, within the Kurdistan Region. These mountains are part of the Zagros Mountains, a massive alpine range that runs along the border shared with Iran and Turkey. The following table lists the tallest mountains in Iraq.
