Tallest Mountains in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia’s most significant peaks are part of the Sarawat Mountains, a massive range that runs parallel to the Red Sea coast. This range starts at the border with Jordan in the north and continues all the way south to Yemen. The highest elevations are found in the southwestern Asir region, where the terrain is surprisingly lush and rugged compared to the desert interior.
