Tallest Mountains in Nepal
Nepal is the heart of the “eight-thousanders,” containing eight of the fourteen highest peaks on Earth. These mountains are part of the Himalayan range, formed by the ongoing collision of the Indian and Eurasian tectonic plates.
The following table lists the 20 tallest mountains in Nepal. Please note that several of these peaks sit directly on the border with China (Tibet) or India.
