Tallest Mountains in Rwanda
The landscape of Rwanda, often called the “Land of a Thousand Hills,” is dominated by the Virunga Mountains in the northwest. This volcanic range contains the highest elevations in the country and is a vital habitat for the endangered mountain gorilla.
